4. Residential Deliveries. Residential deliveries are provided (require a contact name and telephone number) for an additional charge.$5.00 per shipment

5. Return Cheque. DHL agrees to pick up a cheque, post-dated cheque, certified cheque, bank draft or money order made payable to the sender in the amount entered on the Return Cheque waybill before releasing the shipment to the receiver. In the event that the payment transaction process is rendered incomplete, DHL's liability shall be limited to a refund of the charges paid for the Return Cheque service. An additional surcharge applies.$10.00

6. Shipment Value Protection. In the Declared Value box, a liability surcharge per $100.00 of the valuation or part thereof will apply to all shipments. If the value is not declared, "NIL" must be indicated on the waybill. All Domestic shipments with a declared value exceeding $1,000.00 must have a pre-authorization number, obtained from the local DHL branch Customer Service (1-800-CALL-DHL) prior to shipping. This number is to appear in the Special Agreement box on the waybill (refer to section 15 of the DHL Terms and Conditions).

7. Security Controlled Shipments. An additional charge will apply to facilitate shipments that require a chain of signatures whether by law or by customer policy.$6.00 per shipment

8. Dangerous Goods. Shipment of Dangerous Goods is subject to DHL's Terms and Conditions and applicable legislation (including International Air Transport Association ("IATA") Regulations and the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act). An additional charge will apply to Dangerous Goods shipments.$27.00 per shipment

9. Fragile Shipments. No claim against fragile shipments will be entertained unless the description on the waybill clearly indicates "FRAGILE". This service is subject to an additional fee of 50% of the standard shipping rate.

10. E-Returns. DHL will ship returned goods from your customers location back to your warehouse - simply be sending an on-line request. An additional charge applies.$2.00

11. E-Returns . Should DHL EXPRESS be "unable to pick-up" an e-Returns shipment, an additional charge will be applied.$5.00

SECONDARY CHARGES

1. Pickup and Delivery Charges. DHL's applicable rural and inter-line charges are set out in the DHL Express Points Guide and at www.DHL.com.

Rural Charge: Should the point be deemed a rural location by DHL Express, an additional charge may apply.

Inter-line Charge: Cannot be discounted.

2. Sales Taxes. The customer will pay to DHL any and all applicable sales taxes as required by law. GST Registration Number - 12208 2753 RT0002, HST Registration Number - 12208 2753 RT0002, QST Registration Number - 1003663872-TQ0004.

3. Collect/Third Party Bill Surcharge. All shipping charges will be considered "prepaid" unless otherwise noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of shipping. An additional charge will be applied when transportation charges are paid by the third party.$5.00

4. Aviation Insurance Surcharge. All shipments traveling through the DHL air network will be subject to an additional percentage surcharge, based on the total air freight charges.4.9%

5. Nav Canada Surcharge. All shipments traveling through the DHL air network will also be subject to an additional percentage surcharge, based on the total air freight charges.3%

6. Fuel Surcharge. All shipments traveling through the DHL air and/or ground networks may be subject to an additional surcharge without notice. The international fuel surcharge, if applicable, will be based on the U.S. Gulf Coast Fuel Index. The domestic fuel surcharge will be fixed at 10%. DHL reserves the right to assess fuel and other surcharges on shipments. The duration of any surcharge will be determined in DHL's sole discretion. By tendering a shipment to DHL, the customer agrees to pay the surcharges, as determined by DHL.

7. Proof of Delivery. An additional charge will apply for all hard copies provided.$5.00

8. Transaction Fee. An administration fee will apply per invoice.$1.75

9. Address Correction. An additional charge will apply when the receiver address is incorrect, incomplete or not legible. Please note that DHL cannot deliver to a post office box or R.R. # location. Therefore, a delivery address must be provided (including a postal or zip code) for sortation purposes.$6.00

10. Missing Account Number. An additional charge will apply where no account number appears or an incorrect account number is inserted on the Bill of Lading by the shipper.$6.00

11. Special Handling Charge (non packaged & oversize goods). Any package measuring more than 72" (180 cm) in length, or any article, pail or container not fully encased in an appropriate shipping container will incur a surcharge per shipment. This surcharge will also be applied to shipments that require repackaging due to inappropriate or insufficient original packaging.$10.00 per shipment

12. Volumetric Weight: DHL EXPRESS reserves the right to re-weigh all shipments or take the Volumetric weight (also referred to as Dimensional or Cubic Weight), and charge the highest of the total re-weigh or total Volumetric weight per shipment. Volumetric weight is calculated by multiplying the dimensions of your package by a cubing factor of 15 lbs per cubic foot or 6.804 Kgs per cubic meter.
